55+ Living Redefined

I have to say again that you, Kathlyn and Liz really have something very, very special going on in that office and community. The energy you all exude is absolutely incredible — so positive, caring and genuine! By the way, when I was in college, I was a resident assistant, then in grad school a resident director and later a full-time residential area coordinator. So I get it, I absolutely understand how wonderful (and challenging) being involved in community living is. It’s hard work keeping up with everyone, and all of their individual needs :P, but it’s so darn gratifying. I’m very excited to accompany my mom when it’s time to officially receive the fob. Ironically, it will have been a year since I moved in with my parents and started caring for them as my dad was dying. It really has been a journey. (long exhale) That’s why I’m especially excited about my mom’s next chapter at Affinity. It will be beautiful, I just know it. And it is exactly what my dad would have wanted for her.

My living area has worked out to make my apartment like a little house! The management here is fabulous. The girls are very professional and yet very sweet! They are hard working and put the residents first! I am so proud of my new home. The people that live here are very special as well! All in all I think that this is the best place I have lived in a long time and I thank everyone for making this place and my life so special!
