My wife, Pat, and I have been residents of Affinity @ Olympia for the past 2.5 years. We moved from our home in Westport, WA to Olympia and have found it to have been one of the best decisions that we have made, especially in our senior years. We have lived in many places in the United States as well as overseas in Singapore. Read more
We are very happy to call Affinity our home and our community and speak very positively about what our experiences have been. In our search for a place to call home, we looked at several communities in the greater Olympia area. Many were very nice, but, we chose to come to this community in great part because of the welcome, interest, care and assistance of the staff, then and this has continued down to the present moment. Talia and Desiree were gems to work with and had a way of making us feel part of Affinity from the moment we met with them and it continues now with Talia, Amy, Steve and David. My wife is active in the sewing and quilting groups as well taking part in many other activities. Having had a staff of over 100 persons and families scattered throughout East and Southeast Asia and working with a budget of about 12 million USD per year, I am not so naïve to think that things will always run smoothly. That, as you know, is not life or business. Throughout our residency here, I have found Talia to be an extraordinary individual to work with in many different ways. She has always been cooperative and wise in dealing with a multitude of issues. Her focus is always on how to make Affinity@ Olympia a better place to live. I am proud, to say the least, that Talia and Amy work for FPI Management in such an outstanding manner. Our community is strong, active and embracing of the residents because of their natural and professional way of working here.

Talia, the abilities you possess to create a community and a real “family” here at Affinity at Olympia are just awesome! It requires an amazing work ethic, extreme caring, attention to details, listening to ALL residents, intervention with issues before they become problems, and maintaining appropriate boundaries. You, dear Talia, are gifted with all of these qualities and the biggest, warmest heart I have ever known. Thank you all for a most wonderful, special Mother’s Day Tea event, and for your dedication to making Affinity at Olympia the BEST!
